Highlights

Ushuaia - less than 1000km off the Antarctica peninsula, Ushuaia is the last stop before you step off the end of the world. The seafood and the outdoor activities, along with the incredible scenery are definitely reasons why you should visit.

El Chalten - a trekking capital of the southern hemisphere. There are a range of options from huge rock formations to gentle meandering trails, so no matter how you want to spend your time, there is something for everyone.

Perito Moreno Glacier - The most visually impressive of the individual glaciers which has its origins in the upper Andes cordillera. Some 39km long and almost 8.2km wide and as high above lake level as a 24 story building this really is a stunning but rapidly retreating spectacle. The boat ride offers a great opportunity to see the glacier up close and from a number of different angles.

Upsala, Spegazzini and Onelli glaciers. Upsala occupies an entire valley, a massive 765 sq km surface area and 53km long. Spegazzini cascades at a precipitous descent angle into Lago Argentino. There are many bird and mammal species who make these southern latitudes their home; Giant Andean condors, black-chested buzzard eagles and Cara-Cara eagles are the largest of the avian raptor species. The mammal kingdom is dominated by Puma, the largest of the predator cat species, who hunt mainly guanaco. There are also other predators such as red and grey fox, who prey on rabbits and scrub hares.

Rainbow and Brown Trout Fishing - The fly fishing in Tierra del Fuego is considered as some of the best in the world. The stunning scenery and the near certainty of huge catches make this the ideal spot for people who are keen to try out their angling skills in the most amazing environment.
