Visit the Reichstag - The home of the German parliament, this is significant for so many reasons and is central to the history of Germany. Tours are available and this is highly recommended during your time in Berlin.
Chill out in the Tiergarten - When in Belrin, do as Berliner do. That means heading to the city’s most famous park and having a wander or cycle around. There are a number of different walkways, chill-out spots or monuments to explore. Grab a sauage and a beer and enjoy this beautiful open space.
Chill by the Lakes - The Brandenburg lakes are a perfect place to head after a heavy night of partying in Berlin. These lakes provide an idyllic place to relax and sunbath and you will see a very different side to Berlin. The winter months provide an equally beautiful experiene, with maybe a little less sunbathing!!!
Memorial of the Berlin Wall - You can not visit Berlin without acknowleging the history connected to the time where the Berlin Wall split the city between the East and the West. Brandenburg Gate - Get your camera out, this is the post card shot that you were looking for. The Brandenburg Gates have been the site of numerous historically important events and they are now a sign of German and European unity.
The Holocaust Memorial - An incredibly emotive memorial which symbolises the very worst of mankind. The memorial is very simple but the more time you explore it, the more you come to realise what it stands for and what it represents.
